Boundary village and famous resort eastern of Nové Město nad Metují. First mentioned in the year 1369. The main development had been conjugated with mining of iron ore, which finished in 16th century. The church of St. Mary Magdalene from the year 1705 stand at the place of former small wooden church. Interesting is also the Baroque town-hall from the beginning of 18th century. Near the village, above the lodge called Číhalka, there are the flourishy meadows with rare plants.
